LightKeepers
A series of two short performances narrating a partial history of the Low Point Lighthouse in New Victoria, Cape Breton, N.S. First narrated by the lighthouse herself and then by me as the inheritor of its stories, these pieces call attention to the precarious place of lighthouses as the seaside sentinels of old. Below are some pictures of the lighthouse and surrounding area. Photos by Shauna M. MacDonald.

VisceraFeed @ BARCorporation Presents... A staged cyborg laboratory for fluid experimentation, VisceraFeed was a collaborative installation created in collaboration with Violet Juno, Nicole Defenbaugh, and William Bowling.
In it, Viscera conducted experiments in her science, health, and aesthetic laboratories, while viewers walked through the space and completed Human Fluid Observation Questionnaires provided and later cataloged by assistant Meagan Oestry.
With a soundscape by Will, spoken correspondence with Violet, and a digital performance by Nicole, VisceraFeed was an uncanny space for the questioning of human bodily experience. exhibition directed by: Brian Healy & Joe Hassert installation created by: Shauna M. Becoming Viscera
A series of two short performances exploring the relationship between fluidity and emotion, aesthetics and disorder. Featuring the photo series "Spilled Milk", spoken text, and live performance.
Ambiguous, repetitive, and trance like, this piece presented one of the first instances of communication between Viscera and Shauna.

Formula
Viscera's inaugural performance series, in which she pondered the relative value of different human bodily fluids and explored the ethics of her cyborg existence. The photos below were featured in the performance, which included audio and embodied live performance.
